Forest Programs for 0-6 Years of Age

Our programs for children aged 0–6 focus on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and connection through hands-on, play-based learning in the outdoors. Rooted in nature, these programs encourage exploration, sensory play, storytelling, movement, and social development, all guided by the seasons and children's interests. With a focus on emotional growth, relationship-building, and early environmental stewardship, children are supported by experienced educators who foster a safe and joyful space to learn and grow—rain or shine.

Forest Programs for 6-12 Years of Age

Our programs for children aged 6–12 support growing independence, deeper inquiry, and personal exploration through outdoor learning. Whether in our Out of School Care or Independent Nature School, children are encouraged to follow their individual interests through projects, play, and nature-based experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Closely aligned with the BC curriculum, our Nature School integrates core academic concepts with real-world, hands-on learning in the forest—allowing children to thrive intellectually, socially, and emotionally in a setting that values curiosity, connection, and community.

Seasonal Camps

Our seasonal camp programs—offered during winter, spring, and summer school holidays—provide engaging, nature-immersive experiences for school-aged children. Rooted in play and exploration, each camp nurtures a love for the outdoors while engaging the senses through hands-on activities, creative projects, and adventures in local forests, streams, and beaches. With a focus on fun, connection, and curiosity, our camps offer a supportive environment for children to build friendships, develop confidence, and deepen their relationship with the natural world.

Pro D Day Camps

Our Pro D Day Camps offer full-day outdoor programming for school-aged children during district-wide professional development day closures. These camps provide a fun and enriching alternative to regular care, filled with hands-on exploration, creative nature-based activities, and unstructured play in the forest. Designed to spark curiosity and support social connection, each Pro D Day Camp gives children the chance to recharge, explore, and engage with the natural world in a safe and supportive environment.

STEM Program

Our STEM in Nature program blends science, technology, engineering, and math with hands-on exploration of the natural world. Rooted in outdoor learning, children investigate real-world concepts through experiments, observations, and problem-solving inspired by their surroundings—like studying ecosystems, designing shelters, exploring simple machines, or mapping trails with basic coding tools. By connecting STEM learning to forests, streams, and weather patterns, children gain a deeper appreciation for how science and technology interact with the environment, while building critical thinking and collaboration skills in a dynamic, nature-based setting.
