We welcome curious minds of all ages to learn with us in nature. From local youth leadership programs to educator observation tours that attract visitors from across Canada and around the world, our hands-on experiences inspire confidence, connection, and growth.

Branching Out Program

​Ages 9–12 | Local Youth Leadership

Branching Out is a nature-based leadership program for youth aged 9-12, designed to build confidence, teamwork, and outdoor skills. Delivered in local parks or directly within schools across the Vancouver School Boards, this program offers a hands-on introduction to outdoor education and a pathway into future volunteer or summer camp roles.

Leadership & Outdoor Education Internship

Ages 13-18 | Local and National Applicants

​This 6-week immersive program introduces youth to the fundamentals of teaching and outdoor education. Participants engage in two weeks of training, two weeks of hands-on experience in our programs, and two weeks developing a reflective project to bring back to their school or community. Open to applicants across Canada and internationally, with options to connect with schools in the Vancouver area.

Young Adult Outdoor Education Internship

Ages 15-18 | International Applicants

​Designed for those exploring careers in education, outdoor leadership, or environmental fields, this 6-week internship blends practical training, mentorship, and hands-on experience. Participants complete two weeks of foundational learning, two weeks supporting programs in the field, and two weeks developing a project rooted in outdoor education. Ideal for university students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals seeking meaningful, international experience.

Educator & Practitioner Observation Program

For Educators, Care Providers, and Professionals

​​Join us in Vancouver to observe our nature-based programs in action. This experience offers educators and professionals the opportunity to witness outdoor learning first-hand, participate in guided reflection sessions, and engage in select hands-on activities. Ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of child-led, outdoor education in practice.
