Born and raised in Dubai, Rebecca is an artist and educator with a Master’s in Art Education from NSCAD and experience teaching children in studio, school, gallery, and outdoor settings across Canada and internationally. She is currently part of the Saplings Outdoor Program team and also teaches visual arts to children in community and studio spaces. Deeply inspired by the natural world, Rebecca weaves her love of the outdoors and creative exploration into her teaching. She values building meaningful relationships with her students, supporting children’s confidence, curiosity, and connection through hands-on, play-based learning, and believes that creativity grows strongest when children feel seen, safe, and free to explore.

Sukhpreet is a passionate Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) dedicated to creating nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environments for young learners. With experience in both Montessori and play-based settings, she brings a deep understanding of child development and hands-on experience supporting children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Before joining Bonnie Bairns Daycare in North Vancouver, Sukhpreet worked at Cambridge Montessori Preschool & Daycare, where she guided children through creative and inquiry-based learning experiences that encouraged independence and curiosity. She holds an ECEA certification from DEA College and a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business Management from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

​Evan has worked with children for over 7 years and joined Saplings in January 2025. With an ECEA certification and a love for the outdoors, they are excited to be part of a team that values nature-based learning.
